Shervin/e Sheikh Rezaei
The Everywoman
Shervin/e Sheikh Rezaei’s multidisciplinary work moves between installation, drawing, sculpture, sound and video, exploring tensions between control and surrender, vulnerability and resistance. By connecting personal experiences with organic and natural processes, she creates spaces where intimacy and disruption coexist.
For Hibernus #3 , Sheikh Rezaei created three monumental works in which the human body appears as a system that simultaneously undermines and maintains itself. In The Everywoman , Sheikh Rezaei explores femininity as a space of tension: fragile and powerful, vulnerable and seductive. The figure bears traces of pain and loss, but refuses to disappear.
Constructed from multiple graphic techniques and provided with an artist’s list, the work creates an in-between space in which vulnerability appears as a source of strength, resistance and survival.
This work was created in the context of Hibernus #3.
