Shervin/e Sheikh Rezaei

Hibernus #3

The multidisciplinary work of Shervin/e Sheikh Rezaei moves between installation, drawing, sculpture, sound, and video, exploring tensions between control and surrender, vulnerability and resistance. By connecting personal experiences with organic and natural processes, she creates spaces where intimacy and disruption coexist.

For Hibernus #3, Sheikh Rezaei created three monumental works in which the human body appears as a system that simultaneously undermines and sustains itself. In The Everywoman, she explores femininity as a space of tension: fragile yet powerful, vulnerable yet seductive. The figure bears traces of pain and loss, yet refuses to disappear.

Constructed through a combination of graphic techniques and incorporating an artist’s frame, the work creates an in-between space where vulnerability emerges as a source of strength, resistance, and survival.

These works were created in the context of Hibernus #3.
