MASEREEL

The Frans Masereel Centrum started collaborating with Jef Geys in 2015, unlocking his work through a series of publications. Five such publications have been published to date, alongside a pre-publication.

In 2017, Jef Geys exhibited – in the M HKA – an archive installation about the role of media during the 1991 Gulf War. This resulted not only in the publication of Archief 5, but also a concise pre-publication, including documents regarding the installation’s realization process and a preface written by Bart De Baere.
