Glimpses brings together two of artist Marina Pinsky’s key fascinations: photography and sculpture. The work consists of a distinctive series of ten prints that function both individually and as a cohesive whole.

Glimpses draws on fragments from Pinsky’s own photographic collection, presented through an ingenious display method: a clock dial system featuring tiny fragments of her photos. Each slice of time corresponds precisely to the moment the photo was taken. The choice of a fully black background, combined with a blind embossing reminiscent of a comma or quotation mark, serves as a pause, a deliberate interruption in the flow of time and language.

These prints embody Pinsky’s vision of extracting moments from time itself, offering a unique perspective that challenges the seamless flow of continuity.

This edition was developed within the framework of Hibernus #2.
