Applications are still open until May 11th, 11h CET.

Meet the jury:

Perri Mackenzie

Perri Mackenzie is a Scottish artist and writer based in Brussels. Working across painting, drawing, print and text, her work is driven by a fascination with the material world and how it is perceived. Her practice moves fluidly between image and language, combining a playful approach with a strong awareness of its own making.

Her recent exhibition “What does an oracle look like?” (Komplot, Brussels) combined paintings, drawings, prints and publications, highlighting the connections between image, text and bodily presence.

Charlotte Crevits

Charlotte Crevits is a curator and head of visual arts at CC Strombeek in Brussels. She previously worked as a senior curator at Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens, where she developed exhibitions with a range of international artists such as Karla Black, Nástio Mosquito and Francis Upritchard.

With a background in art history, her research focuses on contemporary forms of institutional critique and how artists position themselves in relation to established structures. She is particularly interested in practices that extend beyond traditional art spaces and develop through long-term collaborations.

Marnie Slater

Marnie Slater is a visual artist from Aotearoa New Zealand, based in Brussels. Her multidisciplinary practice spans installation, performance, sculpture, writing, and collaborative projects.

Engaging with queer and feminist perspectives, she often works with archival material to reconsider how histories of art and authorship are constructed. In addition to her solo practice, she is involved in long-term projects such as Buenos Tiempos, Int. and Mothers & Daughters – A Lesbian* and Trans* Bar*, and is active in education, focusing on inclusive and process-based approaches to artmaking.
